A Guide to Making Money Online by Adam Mckerlie

Make Money Online With PayPal

When most people hear the term “Make Money Online” they automatically think it’s either a) A scam or b) A joke. I would have to agree with those people, in most cases making money online is a scam or a joke; it just doesn’t happen, or at least not in a timely fashion. I’m been online for a long time every day and as a university student looking to make some money while doing it. Below I have compiled a list of sites that make me a few dollars every month.

A.W.Surveys

This is the first and newest site I’ve discovered. Like most of the sites in the list you’re paid to fill out surveys. When you first sign up (which is really easy), you’re given your first survey worth $6. After that there’s a list of surveys each worth $4 each. As you complete each survey your account is credited (instantly) with the money earned so you can see how much you have. Once you’ve completed all of those surveys you’ll have to wait for more to come around. I normally get a new list every day or so.

Each survey is actually a review of two different sites. You follow a link to a site (normally a “Win This, Earn This”) and then you review it based on what you see, you don’t have to sign up for any of the sites you review. I filled out each survey in about 5 minutes so the payout is really nice.

The only downside to this site is the payout form. If you’re from the United States you can request a check which takes 4-6 weeks to arrive. If you’re not from the US you have to select the paypal method. Now normally I choose the paypal method for everything but this site takes off a $25 fee for “expedited service” because the paypal money comes in 3-5 days.

Pros:

The payout is really high (I make about $10 a day) and is the highest of the list.
It’s really easy to fill out the surveys
You get $1.25 for every person you refer
Cons:
They take $25 off your account to use paypal
You need to have a minimum of $75 to receive a payment (it’s easy to get this amount)

Subvert and Profit

This site has the coolest concept of all three. You get paid for digging or giving a “thumbs up” articles and pages that they give you. Every day (or more) they’ll give you 3-4 articles from digg.com or 3-4 pages from stumbleupon.com for you to digg or thumbs up. Each time you complete the task you’ll be credited with $0.50. I’ve had a few days where I’ve made $2-3 per day. This site has the best referral program of them all. For every friend you sign up you’ll make 20% of their earnings and for every advertiser you sign up you’ll make 10% of their earnings.

Pros:
No service charge to use paypal
You only need $5 to receive payment
It’s the most fun of all the sites.
Cons:
Some days there won’t be anything to digg or thumbs up
Ad Bux

This is the final site that I use to make money online. It also happens to be the lowest paying site. Here advertisers pay you to click on their ads and view their website. The way it works is you click on the ads, visit the site and then you get paid. Depending on how much each ad is worth you may have to stay on the site longer. The highest paying ads ($0.01) make you stay on the site for 30 seconds. Honestly with this option the most I’ve been able to make is $0.30 per day so its definitely the lowest paying

Pros:
No service charge to use paypal and easy to use
You only need $10 to receive payment
Cons:
Lowest income of the group

As you can see none of these options generate a lot of income but they do generate some. If your site gets a lot of traffic putting on of these buttons on could generate referral income. It’s quite possible to make $70-100 every month from these three sites.
